About Sarwat Atiq

I am a dedicated and enthusiastic educator with a strong academic background in science and healthcare, along with almost two years of experience in online and in-person teaching. I completed my Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Rawalpindi Medical University (formerly Rawalpindi Medical College), where I developed a strong foundation in biological sciences, human anatomy, physiology, and other health-related subjects. I also achieved exceptional academic results in my earlier education, securing 93% in Matriculation and 90% in FSc, which reflects my commitment to academic excellence and my strong understanding of science subjects. Over the course of my teaching experience, I have taught Biology, Chemistry, and Physics to students from Grades 9 to 12, as well as O Level and A Level students. I have also gained valuable experience teaching online through IBA Tutoring, a Canadian-based tutoring company. These experiences have helped me develop strong communication, lesson-planning, and student-engagement skills, while allowing me to work with students of different academic levels and learning abilities. I believe that effective teaching should be student-centered, friendly, collaborative, and interactive. I adapt my teaching style according to the individual needs, learning pace, and academic goals of each student. My aim is not merely to help students memorize information, but to develop their conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and confidence. I make complex concepts easier by breaking them down into simple, logical steps and using relevant examples, discussions, visual explanations, and practice questions. I encourage students to ask questions freely, participate actively, and engage in the learning process rather than remaining passive listeners.
