About iTutor.pk

Pakistan's verified marketplace for home tutors and online teachers.

Our Mission

iTutor.pk exists to make quality tutoring accessible to every family in Pakistan. We believe that finding the right tutor should not depend on which neighborhood you live in or who you happen to know — it should be a fast, transparent, and trustworthy process for parents and students across Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Peshawar, Multan, Quetta, and every other city in the country.

What We Do

We are a verified marketplace connecting parents and students with home tutors (in-person tuition) and online tutors across every major Pakistani city. Tutors on our platform cover:

  • All school grades: KG through Matric (Class 10), FSc / FA / ICS, and beyond
  • O-Level and A-Level (Cambridge International)
  • Federal Board (FBISE), Punjab Board, Sindh Board, KPK Board, and AKU-EB
  • Specialized subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, English, Urdu, Islamiat, Pakistan Studies
  • Language and test preparation: IELTS, TOEFL, SAT, MDCAT, ECAT
  • Religious studies: Quran reading, Tajweed, Nazra, and Islamic Studies

How Tutor Verification Works

Trust matters more than anything else in tutoring. Every tutor on iTutor.pk is verified with their CNIC before their profile becomes visible to parents:

  1. Identity verification — Each tutor submits clear photos of their own CNIC, front and back. B-Forms and birth certificates are not accepted.
  2. CNIC checks — We check that the CNIC is valid and not expired, that the tutor is 18 or older, and that the name on the card matches the profile.
  3. One account per CNIC — The same CNIC cannot be used to verify a second tutor account.
  4. Spot checks — Our team regularly reviews verified profiles by hand, including the bio, headline and subjects.
  5. Approval or rejection — Only approved profiles appear in search results. Rejected applications include feedback so the tutor can correct issues and resubmit.

Tutors who violate our community guidelines or accumulate complaints from parents are warned, suspended, or permanently banned.

How Parents and Students Use iTutor.pk

Finding a tutor on iTutor.pk is free for parents and students:

  1. Search by subject, grade, city, area, mode (home or online), gender preference, and budget.
  2. Compare verified profiles side by side — qualifications, experience, subject fees, ratings from previous students, and teaching mode.
  3. Connect with shortlisted tutors directly through our messaging system. No middleman, no commission on lessons.
  4. Try with a free demo — every verified tutor is required to offer a 2-day free demo period before any payment changes hands, so you can evaluate teaching style risk-free.
  5. Pay only after 15 days of classes — our terms protect parents from paying upfront for tuition that has not yet been delivered.

Why iTutor.pk

Our Coverage

We operate across Pakistan, with the strongest tutor presence in Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Peshawar, Multan, and Quetta. Online tutors on the platform serve students anywhere in Pakistan and abroad.

Our Story

iTutor.pk was built by educators and engineers who had personally experienced how difficult it was to find a reliable tutor in Pakistan — whether that meant chasing WhatsApp group recommendations, putting up notices at coaching centres, or paying for tutoring leads from agencies that disappeared after the first invoice. We started this platform to bring the same level of transparency to tutoring that other industries already take for granted: verified profiles, public reviews, clear pricing, and the freedom to switch tutors without losing your deposit.
