About Jawad Ahsen
Hello! I’m Jawad Ahsen, an English Lecturer with over two years of university-level teaching experience. I hold a Master’s degree in English Literature and a four-year Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Linguistics. I teach English with a student-centered and practical approach, helping learners develop not only grammatical accuracy but also the confidence to use English effectively in real-life and academic situations. My teaching experience includes Functional English, Basic English Grammar, Oral Communication, and Expository Writing at the university level. I have worked with students from different academic backgrounds and understand that every learner has different strengths, challenges, and learning goals. My lessons can help you with: English grammar and sentence structure Spoken English and everyday communication Academic and expository writing Vocabulary and pronunciation Essay and paragraph writing English for university studies Improving confidence and fluency Exam and assignment preparation I believe English should not be something students are afraid of. Instead of simply asking students to memorize rules, I use examples, conversation, practical tasks, guided practice, and interactive activities to make learning meaningful and easier to remember. I also use scaffolding and gradual progression, so students can move from understanding a concept to applying it independently. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and improving.
